The transfer window is far from over at Stade Rennais. While it still intends to be active between now and the end of the transfer market, the date of which is set for February 3, 2025 in France, the Breton club has taken the decision to reduce its training group with the establishment of a loft made up of several “undesirables”. The day after the humiliating defeat in the Coupe de France in Troyes (0-1), the sports management through the voice of Frédéric Massara summoned several players this Thursday, January 16, to announce to them that they would henceforth train at the distance from the group, at staggered times, while waiting for a solution to be found this winter.
According to our information, at least five elements would be concerned, including Baptiste Santamaria and Gauthier Gallon who, in L'Est Éclair, declared this week that he was open to a departure after the signing of Brice Samba.
Jota, Albert Gronbaek and probably Glen Kamara, slightly injured and who was not in the group for the trip to Aube, could also be there. Rennes hopes that all these players will find a way out in the coming days.
