Transfers – Marcel Van der Merwe and Asaeli Tuivuaka extend, Jefferson Poirot in contact… Brive active on the market

The Brivist club continues to be ambitious. Currently fourth in Pro D2, the CAB trusts two of its current elements over the long term. But also seeks to strengthen itself on the front line.

Centerpiece of the Brive system in recent seasons, right pillar Marcel Van der Merwe (34 years old) will continue the adventure in Corrèze. In terms of arrivals, still according to our information, the Brive leaders have established concrete contacts with the resident of the Union -Bègles, Jefferson Poirot (32 years old), with the aim of submitting an offer to him. The former vice-captain of the XV of (36 caps) joined the UBB in 2012, after launching his career at… Brive, where he was trained. At the end of his contract in next June, Poirot is of interest to Corrèze decision-makers, in particular for his experience and his knowledge of the very high level.
