The horizon is emerging for ASM Clermont Auvergne which, anticipating the departure of its hooker Windsurfingsets his eyes on a player playing under the colors of -Bègles.

Romain Latterradepassed through Mont-de-Marsan, and with 23 match sheets with the vice-champions of , seems to be the chosen one to fill the future void left by the Australian.

A strategic replacement

The Auvergne club’s recruitment policy is clear: it favors French training and is looking for a player who can join the team from the 2025 season.

In this game of musical chairs that constitutes the transfer market, it appears that ASM and UBB could paradoxically find common ground, each responding to the aspirations of the other.

Romain Latterradewith his JIFF profile (Player from the Training Line) and his performances under the colors of UBB, corresponds to the criteria set by Clermont.

The latter could therefore become an essential cog in the Clermont sporting project, at the dawn of a new era.

Although the recruitment process appears to be well underway, it is important to emphasize that negotiations are a complex process which involves numerous, sometimes unpredictable, factors.

But there is reason to believe that with this potential transfer, the club aims to perpetuate its demand for quality and its search for adaptability on and off the field.

Confirmation time

The rest of the events will tell if this anticipation of Clermont will bear fruit, with the recruitment of Latterrade or another player corresponding to the desired profile.
