The third center line Caleb Timu was one of the most prominent men for during the improved victory against (43-16). The Australian international (30 years old, 2 caps) looks back on this accomplished performance.

We have the feeling that everything worked for Colomiers. How do you feel hot?

Everyone did the job. We had prepared it well. We knew that against big teams like Dax, we had to have a very solid melee-touchdown-defense base. Not only did everyone do the job, but we had the right mindset. I'm really happy with this performance tonight. You know, getting a victory like this at home is very important for us.

You spoke during the week about the importance of keeping possession against a team like Dax. Probably it was the right thing to do…

It's something that is really close to Julien's (Sarraute) heart, with the occupation. And in my opinion, when you have that going for you, you're hard to beat. We proved it tonight. We had the ball more than Dax, and we had it more than our previous outings.

This is your third try in four games. We saw you in all the shots, especially the good ones. How did you feel?

I felt very good, very to my advantage. My job is to carry the ball and move the whole team forward. I just try to achieve that every week, and do it at a very high level. All this with the aim of helping the team win. There are always things I need to improve on. But overall I'm very happy with my copy tonight.

Especially since you were coming back from an injury, your first of the season…

I twisted my ankle against (December 20, Editor's note) and I recovered well with the physical trainers.

How do you explain your slightly poor start to the second half?

We made too many mistakes and that allowed them to play in our camp. Which was a source of quite a bit of pressure for us. We had to fight to get out of this situation and I feel like that's what we did. When we hold the ball, when we play as we know how, we can bully so many teams… I am convinced that we can still win a lot. But let's take things one week at a time. Let's build from tonight for the big match that awaits us next week in Béziers.
