Jamie George surprised and disappointed to no longer be England captain

While the group of 42 English players who will prepare for the Six Nations Tournament was announced on Tuesday, with a new captain at its head, second row Maro Itoje, 30 years old and 88 caps, hooker Jamie George, who has assumed this role since the 2024 Tournament, replacing Owen Farrell, was made aware of this change only the day before by England coach Steve Borthwick.
