Las Vegas Raiders minority owner Tom Brady has reportedly attempted to recruit Bill Belichick for his organization’s vacant head coaching position.

This was stated by NFL Network journalist Tom Pelissero. The two men who won six Super Bowls together with the New England Patriots reportedly spoke about it recently.
After relinquishing his position as head coach of the ‘Pats following the 2023 season, Belichick was unable to land a new NFL coaching job for this season.
In December, the 72-year-old decided to make the jump to the American university circuit. He signed a five-year contract to manage the University of North Carolina football team.
-Belichick would also have no intention of making a return to the NFL, according to The Athletic site journalist Dianna Russini.
For their part, the Raiders recently showed head coach Antonio Pierce the exit door. He took the helm of the team on an interim basis in 2023, before officially obtaining the position for the 2024 campaign. During this campaign, the Las Vegas team maintained a 4-13 record and took last place of his section.
The Raiders also requested permission from the Detroit Lions to obtain job interviews with coordinators Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn.
In addition, the Las Vegas team announced the dismissal of general manager Tom Telesco on Thursday. He had been in office since last January.
The Raiders have not made the playoffs in the past three seasons and have not won a walk-off game since winning the AFC Finals and advancing to the Super Bowl in 2002.
