Oyonnax announced this Thursday morning the decision to “terminate the contracts of Rory Grice and Chris Farrell”. As a reminder, the two players were sentenced by the Gironde Assize Court on December 13, as part of the so-called “ex-Grenoblois” trial.
Oyonnax rugby communicated this Thursday morning its decision regarding its two players Rory Grice and Chris Farrell. Hired by the Aindinois club since 2017 and 2023 respectively, the number 8 and the three-quarter center were condemned on December 13 by the Gironde Assize Court in the so-called “ex-Grenoblois” trial. The first received a sentence of 12 years in prison for gang rape and the second, 4 years in prison, 2 of which were suspended, for failure to assist a person in danger. This is why Oyonnax rugby expressed: “After learning of the criminal convictions handed down against the two players, the members of the Council unanimously took the decision to terminate the contracts of Rory Grice and Chris Farrell.”
