To end the year in style, the Mayor of the town of Étang-Salé, Mathieu Hoarau, will have the privilege of welcoming to his town, the capital of rugby péi, on Tuesday December 17, 2024, the professional rugby player Louis Bielle- Biarrey.
During the day, the supersonic winger from the Union Bordeaux-Bègles and the XV of France will participate in various sequences organized by the Municipality in partnership with the 1000 Sourires association.
In the morning, this great sportsman of Reunion origins, nicknamed “LBB” in oval circles, will meet the students of Francis Rivière primary school. In the afternoon, the rising star of French rugby will be at the Gilbert-Delgard stadium to share his young but rich high-level experience with the members of the Étang-Salé Rugby Club. - 9:00 a.m.: Official reception of Louis Bielle-Biarrey at the Town Hall by the Mayor.
- 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Meeting and discussion with students from 3 Rugby cycle classes (CE2-CM1-CM2) at Francis Rivière primary school.
- 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Workshop on the synthetic board with students from Francis Rivière primary school.
- 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.: Gilbert Delgard Stadium / Meeting – workshop with young people from the Étang-Salé Rugby Club.
