While the Rouge et Noir started their Champions Cup with an overwhelming success against Ulster yesterday, winning 61-21 at home, it turns out that Ugo Mola's players were able to meet the world of trail running during the week last. As reported by the Aveyron Press Center, Adrien Séguret, coach of the French trail running team, followed the Stade Toulousain players for a week until their first European Cup match yesterday.

A totally unexpected meeting between the two sports but which was more than pleasant and important for Adrien Séguret, as he confided, declaring: “The doors were opened wide for me. It's an extremely enriching experience on a professional level and personally, I enjoyed it. I was able to attend all the training sessions and interact outside of the sessions with the staff and physical trainers. I also had the chance to be with the players before the match, being on the bus to the stadium.“The coach of the French trail team was therefore able to spend a totally unique week and he perhaps gave ideas to Antoine Dupont with a view to testing himself in a new sporting discipline. Although we imagine that the star of French Rugby is very happy in the world of the oval ball and is not likely to wander the forests and paths any time soon with a view to running tens and tens of kilometers…
