Big victory for our Espoirs at La Rabine but disappointment for our Crabos and Alamercery who lost to Bordeaux-Bègles at Jo-Courtel. We take stock of all the results.
RC Vannes 53 – 3 Marcq-en-Baroeul
Our Espoirs had the honor, this weekend, of facing the Marcq-en-Baroeul team on the pitch at the Stade de la Rabine and despite the heavy score, the northern team was very valiant. With this improved victory, our Espoirs remain in contact with Stade Français, leader in the standings. Next meeting this Saturday, December 7 in Nevers.
Jo De Bruin, manager : ” Resumption match against OMR, a very valiant team who never gave up. We are too undisciplined both from a regulatory point of view but also from our project. Too much waste in the scoring area and in the running game which produced a match played at a false rhythm. We must be more precise this week both on our strategic choices and in the current game, if we want to hope to achieve a result at USON.
RC Vannes 20 – 23 Bordeaux-Bègles
In the shock of the day, our Crabos unfortunately lost by only three points against Bordeaux-Bègles. This defeat relegates our U18s to 4th place in the rankings. In a very homogeneous group in which every point will count, we will have to try to raise our heads next week in Brive, another candidate for qualification.
RC Vannes 14 – 19 Bordeaux-Bègles
Like the Crabos, our Alamercery were narrowly defeated, at Jo-Courtel, by Bordeaux-Bègles. The Girondins still remain undefeated while our U16s still occupy 4th place before heading to Corrèze to challenge Brive.
RC Vannes 53 – 0 Rouen
Our U15 Cadets gained confidence and additional points in the standings by largely dominating the Normans of Rouen. They will try to confirm next week with a trip to Nantes.
