The low-cost hairdressing chain Tchip, which already has 400 salons in , has opened a new store on rue d'Alger. With its pastel pink tones and its 1990s Miami atmosphere, Tchip has established itself as the leader in low-cost hair salons.

And it is in the city center of , between Place Puget and the port, that the brand has decided to set up on this “number 1” pedestrian axis.

“This is my 11th salon opening,” declares Jean Calmel, the owner of the place, who already has a brand salon in . “We offer fixed price shampoo – cut – blow dry packages from 27 euros.” An attractive price, which has made the reputation of the show.

Tchip is mainly aimed at women who wish to have their hair cut without an appointment.

In the window, however, there is no specific price for men. “We still have 13% of male customers”notes the hairdresser.

Five hairdressers were hired to run this new boutique.
