Justin Theroux Sends a Declaration of Love to His Ex, Jennifer Aniston

Alongside Jenna Ortega and Winona Ryder, Justin Theroux stars in Tim Burton’s upcoming film, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.” The actor also has a busy private life, as he is actively preparing for his wedding with Nicole Brydon-Bloom, 23 years his junior: the couple reportedly got engaged in Venice, where the actor was attending the Mostra.

This will be Justin Theroux’s second marriage, after his union with Jennifer Aniston. The couple were married for two years, and made their separation official in 2018. But the actress has managed to stay on good terms with her ex-partner, just as she has since rekindled a certain complicity with Brad Pitt.

Also, in an interview with the Times, the 53-year-old actor said: “She still means a lot to me.” Justin Theroux particularly wanted to support her, after she was taken to task by Senator JD Vance, who had criticized childless women, and to whom she had sent an angry message. “Of course, I still feel protective. But she returned the criticism well, as she knows how to do.”

This isn’t the first time that Justin Theroux has addressed Jennifer Aniston in this way. In a previous interview with Esquire magazine in 2021, he had already made some confidences about their relationship. “I would say that we have remained friends. We don’t talk every day, but we call each other sometimes. We FaceTime. We text each other.”

At the time, he also took the opportunity to clarify their separation. “Like it or not, we did not have a dramatic breakup, and we love each other. I am sincere when I say that I cherish our friendship… Personally, I think it would be a loss if we were no longer in contact. And I like to believe that she thinks the same thing.” The actor had also clarified that their separation had nothing to do with the reasons given in the press, starting with a disagreement on the place of residence. “It’s a story that is not true, for the most part. People like to create stories that make them feel better, that simplify things for them. (…) It’s an oversimplification,” he had said, ending the debate.
