Françoise Hardy passed away on June 11th. While she leaves behind an impressive catalogue of hits that were sometimes successful worldwide, the singer who suffered from pharyngeal cancer was also the owner of numerous properties in Paris and Corsica. A fortune amassed over the course of her career and which goes entirely to her only son, Thomas Dutronc. When asked about his musical heritage and his new role as the beneficiary of all of his mother’s music, the 51-year-old responds without batting an eyelid: “I will especially try to highlight his musical heritage. We talk about it with Étienne Daho who knows all this so much better than me.” And to add: “We’re going to do things. For now, I’m going to focus on my tour. We try to pay tribute to himobviously.
