Moreover, three years after the great success of “Country Rock” (70,000 sales), his 40th and new opus entitled “Amigos” will be released on November 8. A symbolic title since on the 12 tracks of the album, Eddy Mitchell called upon many singer friends to support him in this adventure, from Pascal Obispo to Alain Chamfort via Sanseverino and William Sheller. “The recording took place at the ICP studios in Brussels last May with my American musicians as usual. There will be no “guests”, but lots of very famous people and friends have signed songs for me. It’s still very fresh. I received the cover proposals two days ago!” he proclaimed a few weeks ago. And the singer has set his sights on a cover that highlights his love of the United States. The singer appears in close-up in front of a house and a car set in a very American desert setting.
