While season 3 of House of the Dragon won’t be revealed until 2026 on Max, the release of another spin-off based on the novels of George RR Martin is scheduled for next year. The creator of the original books is particularly excited about this project, and it’s rare that he is!

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is the adaptation of the three short stories grouped together in the work The Chronicles of the Knight ErrantThe story takes place 90 years before the events of GOT and tells the adventures of the knight Dunk and his young squire L’Œuf (nicknamed for his bald head). While no specific release date has been announced yet, the series is set to premiere in 2025. George RR Martin visited the set of the show and revealed his first impressions au Hollywood Reporter.
