LThe Forsee Power factory faces the Futuroscope in Poitiers, on the edge of the D910. Its color seems to come from a song by Jean-Jacques Goldman: between light gray and dark gray. Inside the 15,000 square meter building, several assembly lines are used to manufacture battery systems. A company unknown to the general public, Forsee Power is nevertheless a French giant in electric batteries.
The company, which employs 750 people in Europe, Asia and North America, achieved a turnover of 171 million euros in 2023, an increase of 54%. It designs and integrates systems for all types of vehicles, with the exception of passenger cars. Claiming to be the European leader in battery systems, it offers an alternative to Asian suppliers.

“We do custom work, in particular for school buses, trucks, Piaggio and Kawasaki two-wheelers, Indian 3ev tricycles, trams, trains, Toyota APM shuttles transporting Olympic and Paralympic athletes and even the electric sweepers of the Paris City Hall,” explains Christophe Gurtner, the CEO who founded the group based in Ivry-sur-Seine (Île-de-France) in 2011.
