Vuelta. The general classification of the riders after the 10th stage, won by Wout van Aert

Ben O’Connor was not troubled on the 10e stage of the Vuelta a España, Tuesday 27 August, won by Wout van Aert (Visma – Lease a bike) at the end of a long victorious breakaway. The Australian climber from the French team Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale controlled the race with the help of his teammates, maintaining the same lead as before the rest day over Primoz Roglic (Red Bull Bora-Hansgrohe), his runner-up.

In the top 10 of the general classification, there is still a French rider: David Gaudu (Groupama-FDJ) remains 10e more than six minutes behind the red jersey, while his teammate Quentin Pacher distinguished himself by taking 2nde stage place behind Van Aert.
