Geneva votes on a new tax cut to pamper its entrepreneurs

There is at least one thing on which supporters and opponents of the reform of the taxation of the working tool of entrepreneurs, submitted to the vote in Geneva on September 22, agree: the democratic debate must take place. They have therefore changed the schedule of their respective press conferences this Tuesday, which were initially supposed to overlap.

Opposed by the left in a referendum, the law is in fact a reduction in the wealth tax. It concerns the share of the assets of people who hold at least 10% of the shares of the company that employs them as a principal occupation, provided that these shares are not listed on the stock exchange. The final condition: being domiciled in Geneva.
