New appointments in the National Security services: priority to young skills

As part of its strategy aimed at promoting alternation in positions of responsibility and encouraging young skills, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) proceeded, Wednesday January 22, 2025, to the announcement of seven new appointments in decentralized police services. These designations concern several cities in the Kingdom, namely Casablanca, Ouarzazate, Tinghir and Chefchaouen.

Approved by the Director General of National Security, Abdellatif Hammouchi, these appointments aim to breathe new life into security management. They include in particular internal movements between the heads of the judicial police brigades in the security zones of Anfa, Sidi Bernoussi-Zenata and Moulay Rachid, reporting to the Casablanca police headquarters.

Furthermore, other National Security executives have been appointed to head decentralized public security and judicial police services. These assignments include the appointment of two heads of police stations in the cities of Chefchaouen and Tinghir, as well as a head of the dog brigade within regional security in the city of Ouarzazate.

These changes are part of a constant work dynamic, focused on strengthening the capacities of the human resources of National Security. The objective is to ensure effective management of police structures by entrusting positions of responsibility to highly qualified and well-trained executives. This approach also aims to implement ambitious action plans to strengthen the security of citizens and guarantee the protection of their property.
