There were around fifteen athletes making the trip to Nantes. The two U18 relays (four times a lap of the track) were crowned. “They have improved their performances and are in the top 10 nationally”indicates Daniel Aubry. For Paul Boutet, Matthieu Monory, Titouan Boyer and Nohann André for the boys (1’35”48) and for Élise Boudon, Maelys Edjenguele, Elsa Gillier-Burdet and Léna Brochard for the girls (1’48”41”) , we’re off to a good start for qualifying for in mid-February in Liévin.

At the individual level, the club’s president-coach cites in particular the performances of Souliatou Saka over 400 m (56’88), Léane Glaudel over the same distance (58’69), Noam Goulet over 800 m (1’57’ ’08), Angèle Peron at height (1.60 m), Léna Brochard at pole vault (2.92 m) Maëlys Edjenguele at length (5.32 m), Titouan Boyer in the triple jump (12.85 m), or even young walkers Jeanne Rambaud and Océane Boussely over 3,000 m (17’24”72 and 18’00”67).

Also note that at the StarPerche meeting, Victor Richy passed 4.80 m on Saturday, which places him in the top 10 of juniors.

> AC Romorantin.

Richard Ferrand was at the head of a delegation of eight athletes in Nantes. Junior sprinter Antoine Soumaré shone by being crowned over 60 m, “with a personal and club record at the same time (6”91) ». On the other hand, he was unable to defend his chances in the 200m “because of a false start”.

The other performance of the weekend among the Romorantinais is to the credit of the cadet Camille Denis with a jump to 5.28 m at length “which also breaks the club record”while Maxence Lenglois passed the bar at 1.84 m in height.

> Vineuil Sports.

Unlike their comrades in the department, the Vinoliens, with 18 athletes and three judges, including two young people in training, took the road to Val-de-Reuil.

And the young headliners performed, as Sarah Ali indicates. In the 5 km walk, Mattéo Hénault exploded his record “longer than a minute” in 23’29, i.e. “third French U18 performance of the year”. And in high jump, Élina Redon “continues to gain momentum” with a jump to 1.72 m (record at 1.74 m outdoors). A good omen for France (in on February 8-9 for the walkers and in Liévin on the 15-16 for the jumpers).

The results, however, are “rather mixed” for jumpers (long and triple jump). We will still note the consistency at a high level of Camille Le Roux, including a 6m jump, while Maïwenn Machu, Mederick Marchand and Léa Feite had more difficulty adjusting and will have another chance during the pre- France in Nantes the 1is and February 2.

As for the sprinters, Sarah Ali notably notes the records of Tifenn Gallois-Page in the 400 m and the 200 m (50’83 and 23’13), as well as the cadet Romain Couteau over the same distances (54’19 and 24 ’25).

For the Merois, “the weekend was complicated”specifies Christian Dabert. In triple jump, Linda Verschuère, “a little hurt”notably could not finish the competition, while Juliette Legrand jumped to 10.45 m. And over 400 m, the cadet Iona Chapeau-Sellier, “coming out of illness”ran in 64”08.
