The Medina team is competing with the Ivorians from ASEC Abidjan for the only remaining qualifying place in group C.

The Senegalese representative is three points ahead of the Ivorians. Coach Malick Daf’s protégés need a draw to qualify. “We will play for victory, nothing else,” said Malick Daf. “The team is ready, we will put all our potential forward to obtain our qualification,” he added.

In the event of a tie on points, the ASEC will pass thanks to a particular favorable difference. The Ivorian club beat Jaraaf (2-0) on the first day, before losing in Dakar by the smallest of scores.

The match against USM Alger risks being difficult for Jaraaf and its supporters due to the incidents noted during the meeting between the two teams in Dakar.
