The main chain of the Inditex group continues to focus on collaborations with Asian brands. After its recent association with the AO Yes label for the Chinese New Year, Zara has this time sought inspiration from Japan and will launch a new feminine capsule for winter in collaboration with the And wander label, founded in 2011 by Keita Ikeuchi and Mihoko Mori.

The new capsule will be available from January 16 online and in certain stores – Zara

Freely inspired and based on the concept of inner serenity, the collection offers a series of comfortable outdoor clothing, designed in technical and waterproof materials. The capsule includes long and short down jackets, a nylon coat, a sheath dress, knitted pants and fleece-lined sweaters. As for accessories, we find tote bags, fanny packs and quilted boots.

Created from the feeling of being in a mountain refuge after a day of hiking, the line will be available from Thursday, January 16 on the Zara website and in select stores.

The wave of collaborations at Zara does not seem to be stopping any time soon, with the chain seeming to be betting big on these alliances to improve its positioning. In recent years, the brand has joined forces with renowned designers such as the Italian designer Stefano Pilati, the British stylist Harry Lambert, the American designer of Cuban origin Narciso Rodríguez, the Dutch collective Kassl Editions and the label South Korean Ader Error, with whom she took her first steps in the Zepeto metaverse.

Founded in 1974, the brand had 1,811 points of sale at the end of 2023, divided between own stores and franchises. Since its creation, Zara has been part of the Inditex group’s brand portfolio, alongside Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Pull&Bear, Oysho, Zara Home and Lefties.

According to the latest published results, the Spanish conglomerate chaired by Marta Ortega achieved a turnover of 18.065 billion euros in the first half of 2024, an increase of 7.2% in sales compared to the same period during of the previous financial year.
