Since its creation in 2013 by a group of determined Casablancans, the AMANI association has worked to support children from disadvantaged backgrounds in their educational journey. The association’s mission is to offer these children the tools necessary for their autonomy, from a young age until their integration into the job market. It also pursues a broader objective: that of breaking the social isolation of children and their families by offering them quality education, cultural and sporting activities, as well as solidarity initiatives.
Overall support
AMANI stands out for its holistic approach which combines education, culture and solidarity. The beneficiary children, selected on the basis of social, family and school criteria, benefit from a series of educational programs adapted to their needs, including
- Academic support courses in essential subjects such as science, mathematics, French and English, taught by teachers paid by the association;
- Educational workshops addressing essential subjects such as citizenship, individual freedoms, human rights, gender equality, and solidarity;
- Cultural and sporting activities varied, such as registration in a music conservatory, visits to museums and galleries, cinema outings, sporting events and leisure activities to promote personal development;
- Discovery classes and field tripsorganized two to three times a year, to encourage openness to the world and critical thinking.
These activities take place within “Amani Campus Space”, an environment designed to create a climate of trust conducive to the learning and development of children, in a dynamic of academic and personal success.

On the other hand, the “Amani Campus Space” reception center will soon be renovated and a summer center is planned later, to allow AMANI children to benefit from a space for outdoor activities.
Partnership
In addition to its action in Casablanca, AMANI established a partnership in 2017 with the AKHIAM association, an NGO which operates in the Imilchil region, mainly among girls, through a literacy, support and educational, social and psychological support for low-level students. It also equips libraries and multimedia rooms. Its main objective is to fight against rural girls dropping out of school.
This partnership is being renewed from January 2025, in order to strengthen the creation of models of success and social advancement, to contribute to the fight against the isolation of disadvantaged families, child labor and school dropouts and to overcome conditioning leading to failure and self-censorship through access to relevant information, mentoring and the culture of exemplarity.
