Political life: RNI maps out its 2025 priorities in the midst of national mobilization

Meeting in Rabat, the National Council of the National Rally of Independents unveiled the main orientations for the year 2025, aligning with national priorities. Between diplomacy, social reforms and government commitments, the party displays a firm desire to pursue structuring reforms under royal leadership. A dynamic driven by convincing results and flawless mobilization of its authorities.

Under the presidency of Aziz Akhannouch, the party took stock of its actions and revealed its ambitions for the coming year. Saturday January 11, 2025, the National Council of the National Rally of Independents (RNI) met in Rabat in an atmosphere full of symbolism, on the occasion of the commemoration of the presentation of the Independence Manifesto.

A strengthened diplomatic course
One of the highlights of this National Council was the unanimous recognition of Morocco’s diplomatic progress in the Sahara issue. The RNI welcomed the successes of royal diplomacy, marked by growing support for the autonomy initiative.

This support, considered strategic, reflects the effectiveness of the royal vision in matters of foreign policy. The party also called for strengthening parliamentary diplomacy, a key lever for defending the Kingdom’s interests internationally.

Social reforms: an absolute priority
The National Council also insisted on the reform of the Family Code, described as a major societal project. RNI parliamentarians were called upon to support this legislative reform, which is part of the royal desire to establish social justice and equal rights.

Furthermore, the party highlighted the efforts made to realize the social state project. Access to care, education and social protection remains at the center of priorities, with a call for citizen mobilization to support these transformations.

A renewed organizational commitment
Internally, the RNI took advantage of this meeting to strengthen its organization. The signing of performance contracts with regional coordinators was highlighted as an innovation in partisan governance. This model, focused on clear and measurable objectives, aims to consolidate the party’s presence on the ground, in anticipation of future political events.

An ambitious course for 2025
With half of its mandate over, the party says it is confident in its ability to meet the remaining challenges. In terms of governance, the Council highlighted the efforts made to maintain effective coordination between the government and Parliament, reflecting exemplary coherence between the institutions.

The National Council closed its work by adopting the 2025 budget, thus confirming its desire to support reforms and prepare the next steps with determination.
