Emotion in Casablanca after the death of three pregnant women in a clinic

“The three women, including a 23-year-old young woman who was expecting her first child, had entered the clinic in good health, but died without any clear explanation from the clinic administration or medical staff,” indicates the Moroccan human rights organization in a press release. Shocked, she asks the health and judicial authorities to open an immediate and exhaustive investigation to determine the true causes of these deaths and to hold responsible all those who showed negligence or were involved in this matter.

The organization calls on the administration of the private clinic to issue an official statement to clarify the circumstances of this incident to public opinion, in order to strengthen confidence in the health system. For her, it is necessary to strengthen medical supervision in private clinics to guarantee compliance with medical standards and ensure patient safety.
