HAS Quimper (Finistère), the Moulin Vert neighborhood center celebrates the new year on Saturday January 11, 2025 with its traditional Fairy Lights evening.

The event will begin with music at 6 p.m. with the public strolling from the Pontigou roundabout to the Moulin Vert plain. The joyful musicians of the Douarneniste fanfare Breathless will accompany this festive stroll.

Chinese shadow show

From 6:15 p.m., spectators, invited to come dressed in light, will gather for the release of lanterns on the Steïr. “This year the children from the leisure center will take an active part in the evening with the shadow puppet show created for this purpose,” specify the organizers.

The temperatures are sometimes cool in January and it will be possible to warm up with a bowl of soup or enjoy a hot chocolate or a mulled wine (offered by the Neighborhood House).
