Temenos was not exactly in great shape when she was accused of various frauds and manipulations on February 15. After a difficult 2022, the Geneva-based banking software company was in the process of evolving its business model and was looking for a new CEO since the start of 2023.
It was at this time that the American investment company Hindenburg Research chose to publish a report claiming that Temenos was manipulating its figures, backdating its sales contracts and creatively accounting for its R&D investments.
