The roads in southern Quebec are snow-covered Tuesday morning, due to snow that fell overnight.
Precipitations of 10 to 15 cm of snow were forecast starting Monday evening in several regions from Outaouais to Quebec.
If the precipitation is no longer very heavy around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, several arteries are still covered in snow, according to Quebec 511.
In Montreal, around 8:40 a.m. several highways are clear, and those which are not have a “partially covered” status, according to the Ministry of Transport website.
In Laval, highways 13, 15 and 19 are partially covered, while the A-440 is still covered.
However, snow removal operations seem to be underway in greater Montreal as several highways quickly go from covered to partially covered status.
Still around 8:40 a.m., highways 10, 15 and 30, in Montérégie, are still covered.
Route 132, between the Champlain Bridge and Beauharnois, is partially covered.
Highway 20 is also still partially covered between Sainte-Julie and Highway 55.
On the North Shore of Montreal, the roads are still snow-covered, except the A-640, Highway 50 and the A-15 heading north from Sainte-Adèle.
