Great success of the fourth edition of the national conscript games

This sporting event is part of the great concern with which King Mohammed VI, Supreme Leader and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), continues to surround those called up for military service and their training. military, professional and sporting.

The closing ceremony was chaired by Colonel-Major Maati Moukane, Head of the General Directorate of Joint Sports of the FAR, in the presence of military authorities from the Oriental operational sector, Place d'Armes de Guercif and the 6th Royal Brigade armored vehicle (BRB) of the FAR, as well as representatives of the offices, inspections and directorates of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces and the Royal Gendarmerie.

Organized from December 14 to 21, this fourth edition combined, at the FAR regional sports complex in Guercif, several sporting disciplines, such as taekwondo, races (100, 800, 1500 and 5000 m), shot put, jumping in length and football.

It saw the participation of 513 conscripts, including 79 girls, from 14 conscript training centers, and made it possible to highlight the role of military sport as one of the pillars of education and general training of the military.

In a statement to the press, Commander Taha Chaoui, representing the General Directorate of Joint Sports, explained that this Directorate organized the fourth edition which brought together 513 participants from the different Conscript Training Centers (CFA), adding that this edition which saw the introduction of new disciplines, which are athletics and taekwondo, was a great success mainly thanks to the support and equipment made available to the organizing committee by the General Staff of the FAR.

The participants, he rejoiced, showed great competitiveness during the various competitions which constituted a favorable opportunity for the technical committee responsible for detecting talents in various sporting disciplines, with a view to selecting the elements which will be oriented towards the specialization of sports trainer in a first phase, and integrated into the various military sports teams at the end of their training.

For his part, Commander Abdelwahab Ben Yahya of the 6th Royal Armored Brigade (BRB) underlined that this edition was a resounding success both organizationally and logistically, specifying that the 6th Royal Armored Brigade, in coordination with the Place d 'Armes de Guercif, provided all the necessary support and human and logistical resources, as well as specific equipment to ensure the smooth running of this sporting event at all levels.

In addition, all adequate and comfortable accommodation conditions were provided for all participants and the executives who accompanied them, he said, affirming that these results were obtained thanks to the combined efforts of the various stakeholders and stakeholders, both at central and local levels.

In detail, for the 100 m “girls” race, the gold medal went to Wissam Zouhair from the 2nd Training Center of the Conscripts (CFA), while for the 800, 1500 and 5000 m, the medals of gold were awarded respectively to Imane Mansouri and Assia Miftah from the General Support Air Base, and Naima Boujrir from the 2nd CFA.

On the men's side, the gold medals were won by Nadir Sbai of the FRA (100m), Hamza Ejebli of the 2nd CFA (800 and 1500 m) and Rachid Benalla of the 4th CFA (5000 m).

For the Shot Put, gold was won by Badr Adnani of the 7th CFA, while for the long jump, Yassine Bokri took first place on the podium, while for the women the medal of The gold in the shot put went to Chaima Boudouma from the Social Services Instruction Center, and that in the long jump went to Imane Mansouri from the FRA.

Taekwondo was also on the program to decide between the Conscripts who competed for first place in this event. Thus, on the girls' side, the first places on the podium for the different categories were occupied by Yasmine El Bali from the 7th CFA (-49 kg), Zineb El Majdoubi from the 7th CFA (-57 kg), Hajar Charrafi from the 7th CFA (-67kg). ) and Chaimae El Bellaj from the Social Services Training Center (+67 kg).

On the men's side, the first places went to Driss Ben Fares of the 5th CFA (-58kg), Abdellah Belamtaouch of the 1st Joint Recruitment and Training Center (-68kg), Oussama Krit of the 6th CFA (-80kg) and Soufiane Benjnouni of the 5th CFA (+80kg).

The closing of the competitions was marked by the two matches, final and classification, of boys' football.

The final, which took place in a good-natured atmosphere, was won by the team representing the 4th Conscript Training Center which beat its counterpart from the 1st Center by two goals to one (2-1).

Third place went to the team from the 2nd Conscript Training Center.

At the end of this sporting event, medals and trophies were presented to the various winners.
