Last Wednesday, we began the installation of the exterior sign identifying the Laval Aquatic Complex, visible from the Laurentides highway.
Designed and produced by Communication Tremblay-Ménard, the sign was installed by the Laval firm EBL Lighting Service.
This is the very last touch in preparation for the official opening announced for Saturday, December 14.
Remember that the break-in period for these new aquatic facilities has continued since September 30, notably thanks to swimming and diving clubs in Greater Montreal, which are currently deprived of the swimming pool at the Claude-Robillard Sports Complex and that of the Center sports hall of the Montreal Olympic Park due to major work.
A national-scale infrastructure built at a cost of some $130 million, the Laval Aquatic Complex is located on Terry-Fox Avenue, a few steps from the Le Carrefour bus terminal.
The new equipment, with a capacity of 875 bathers, is adjacent to the museum institutions dedicated to the infinitely large and the infinitely small, namely the Cosmodôme and the Armand-Frappier Health Museum.
