Singer Gorgui Ndiaye, originally from the town Rufisque and known as the “King of Ndawrabine”, left an indelible mark on the Senegalese cultural scene thanks to his passion for Lebou culture. However, his recent return to public, after a prolonged absence, has sparked discussions on social networks.
Gorgui Ndiaye’s new look has ignited social networks, since the appearance of a video, where we see the artist completely transformed. Light complexion, earrings, Senegalese Internet users are asking a lot of questions about Go’s change in physique. Gorgui Ndiaye has displayed a new face that, certainly, his fans do not recognize him.
Questioned by our colleagues from Seneweb, the artist refuted the comments claiming that he had resorted to depigmentation. “I am very surprised to see on social networks that my video is causing debate. Everyone is free to say what they think, but I, Gorgui Ndiaye, know who I am and where I come from, I am Lebou and I respect my community. I will not be the person who will hold up the image of our community” he declared the artist Lebou.
