While there is still a match to play for many of the players affected by the international break, PSG will recover two of its players faster than expected for very different reasons.
There is also sometimes good news during the international break and PSG recorded two this Sunday. Indisputable holder and even more and more often captain of the Moroccan selection, Achraf Hakimi will not play the second match of this November truce. As revealed by the Moroccan press, PSG and the Moroccan federation had an agreement to release Hakimi after the first match, brilliantly won in Gabon (5-1) on Friday evening.
This agreement is linked to Hakimi's participation in the Olympic Games last summer, Paris having agreed to release its player in full pre-season preparation so that he could participate, with success since he brought home a medal of bronze. But this is very good for PSG who will recover Hakimi with only one match in their legs while a big program awaits PSG, including a trip to Bavaria in a big week.
In another register and without any real arrangement, PSG will be able to recover Milan Skriniar much earlier than expected. The captain of Slovakia obviously started on Saturday evening with his national team against Sweden but he was sent off at the end of the game. As a result of this red card, the central defender will not be able to play Tuesday's match against Estonia since he is suspended and he will therefore be able to return to Paris.
This suspension and this early return are very good for PSG since it is quite likely that Skriniar will start Friday evening against Toulouse. Marquinhos is suspended for the game for accumulation of yellow cards and it is generally the Slovak who replaces him.
