Since yesterday, testimonials have multiplied on social networks from users of the application Waze. Suddenly, their application decided to no longer display in French, but in Hebrew, Turkish or Russian…
The site Downdetector noted a spike in reported outages across Waze’s various applications, all citing a language issue.
The modification also sometimes affects the units of measurement, which change to Miles or km depending on the initial setting… Google has recognized the bug and indicated that it is working to resolve it. In the meantime, changing the language would temporarily resolve the issue (provided you are able to navigate the correct menus), but the change would occur after restarting the application.
