Walid Regragui revealed, this Thursday, November 7, the list of players called up for the matches against Gabon and Lesotho as part of the CAN 2025 qualifiers.
This list is marked by the return of Brahim Diaz who missed the last rally due to injury. For his part, Adam Masina, long sidelined, is also back in action. It should be noted the absence of Amine Adli, away from the field due to an injury.
Hakim Ziyech is also not on the list of players called up. The Galatasaray player is going through a complicated period within his club which has also decided to sideline him.
The national team coach is expected to hold a press conference next Tuesday, from 6 p.m., at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, followed by a training session open to the media.
The Atlas Lions will begin to join the Concentration Center on November 10, with a gradual ramp-up of training before leaving for Gabon on November 13, where they will face their opponent two days later.
After the match, Regragui’s team will return directly to Morocco on a special flight to Oujda Angad airport, then travel to Saïdia to prepare for the match against Lesotho scheduled for November 18.
Note that the national selection, leading its group with 12 points, is already qualified for the final phase of the African Cup of Nations as host country of the competition, scheduled from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026.
