Lhe Belgian subsidiary of the French group Thales has signed a memorandum of understanding with a Ukrainian defense company with a view to increasing local production of anti-drone missiles. The announcement was made over the weekend by Ukraine’s Minister of Strategic Industries, Herman Smetanin. “The collaboration will strengthen the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and improve the protection of critical infrastructure against enemy drone attacks,” the minister said on Telegram.
