BISSAU, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) — Guinea-Bissau Minister of Territorial Administration and Local Power, Aristides Ocante Da Silva, announced on Saturday that it would be “technically difficult” to organize the legislative elections on November 24 because “All the conditions are not yet met.”

He spoke to journalists after a meeting with the Guinea-Bissau president, focused on the state of preparations for the legislative elections.

“Until now, the National Electoral Commission (CNE) has not yet published the final list of political parties and coalitions which will participate in the ballot, although it is on the basis of this list that the CNE proceeds with the draw to the lot which allows him to have the order of the flags of the political parties and coalitions in order to order the printing of the ballot papers”, specified Mr. Da Silva.
