Thursday October 31, 2024, shortly before midnight, the firefighters were mobilized for a vehicle that had left the road on the RD 73, near the town of Tronquay (Calvados).

Two young men declared dead
The human toll is heavy: two young men aged 18 died in this accident and two young women aged 16 were transported injured to the Bayeux hospital center.
To assist the victims, 13 firefighters from the Bayeux, Littry and Caumont-sur-Aure rescue centers were mobilized.
This is not the only fatal accident in Normandy this week: a 40-year-old man died in a traffic accident on the N12, in Orne, Tuesday October 29.
