Unfortunately, Thursday will also see the arrival of a depression from the West and it will extend to the Mediterranean the next day. Under these conditions, the occurrence of a new Cévennes episode is to be feared with heavy precipitation. “The cumulative rainfall between Thursday and Friday could exceed 50 to 70 mm between the south of the Massif Central, Provence, the lower Rhône valley and Languedoc,” warns La Chaîne Météo.
