The latest bulletin, published at 4 p.m. this Wednesday, raises the level of vigilance to the maximum in Seine-et-Marne. The sector is in red for the risk of flooding. According to the Vigicrues map, it is the Grand Morin downstream which is mentioned in the context of this alert. Note that on these lands, an orange rain-flood vigilance is also in force.

Alongside this maximum alert, 35 departments are in orange, including Seine-et-Marne. The rain, therefore, but also the wind must be monitored in the face of these alerts, which concern, for the vast majority, departments ranging from -Atlantique to Meurthe-et-. Also included is an area extending from Haute-Saône to Isère, as well as isolated territories such as the Alpes-Maritimes, Hautes-Pyrénées and Pyrénées-Atlantiques.

What Météo France says

In its final bulletin, Météo France mentions “rain associated with the Kirk depression which concerns the entire northern half of the country. The most severe are currently located between Center-Val-de-Loire and Ile-de-France. They are beginning to weaken in the west of Pays-de-Loire, with the bulk of the precipitation having passed between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

The forecasters also add that “ahead, the south wind blows in strong gusts over the Pyrenees as well as the Center-East and Burgundy-Franche-Comté”.
