Michael Jackson was a virgin when he met Lisa Marie Presley at age 35

Lisa Marie Presley has revealed that Michael Jackson told her he was “still a virgin” when they met in 1992. This confession appears in recordings left by the King’s daughter before her death in January 2023 and compiled by his daughter, Riley Keough, in the memoir From Here to the Great Unknown, which was scheduled for release today, October 8.

The two artists struck up a friendship in 1992, then officially began a relationship when Lisa Marie was 26 and Michael Jackson was 35. Their marriage, celebrated in the Dominican Republic in 1994, caused a real media whirlwind.

“He told me he was still a virgin,” Presley recalled in the book. “I was terrified, because I didn’t want to rush him,” she admitted. “When he decided to kiss me for the first time, he just did it. He was the instigator of everything. Physical things started happening, which shocked me. I had thought we wouldn’t do anything until we got married, but he said, ‘I’m not waiting.'”

He also confided to her that Madonna had tried to get together with him once, but nothing happened.

Although their marriage ended in 1996, Lisa Marie Presley admitted that she had never been happier than during that time: “I fell in love with him because he was normal, just normal. His normalcy was a side that no one saw,” she wrote. She also added that she has never tasted this kind of happiness again.

Regarding the pedophilia accusations against Jackson, she says: “I’ve never seen anything like this. Personally, I would have killed him if I had seen him.”

When Michael Jackson died of cardiac arrest on June 29, 2005, Lisa Marie was overseas. When she returned, she spent hours by his coffin after the funeral.
