Still mild weather this Tuesday but be careful it won’t last!

There is only one word: let’s make the most of it before the weather gets bad. Because if this Tuesday will still be mild and clement, the weather will change in the coming days.

The cloudiness will often become more variable over the hours with occasional clearings in the afternoon from the west of the country. The east and south-east of the territory will, however, have to deal with cloudier weather. The risk of a few showers will remain, but the weather will often be dry in most regions. The maxima will oscillate between 14 degrees in the upper Ardennes and 19 degrees in the west. The wind will be moderate from the south-southwest, moving to the south.

Tropical cyclones will influence the Belgian weather and the consequences will be felt very quickly: here are the weather trends until the end of the year

This evening

This evening, there will still be sunny spells with mostly dry weather. During the night, cloudiness and the risk of precipitation will increase, mainly from the center to the east of the country. The minimum temperatures, still mild, will fluctuate between 10 and 15 degrees. The southerly wind will remain present, moderate in the interior and becoming quite strong at the coast.

Wednesday

On Wednesday, the sky will be very cloudy with frequent periods of rain over the southeastern half of the country. The weather will be drier in the west and north-west of the territory, with showers interspersed with drier periods. In the evening and the following night, precipitation will continue mainly in the south-east of the country where accumulations could sometimes become notable. Luc Trullemans also warns…

It will be quite mild with maximums of 12 to 13 degrees in the Ardennes to 17 degrees towards the coast. The southerly wind will be moderate at first, then weak to moderate.

THURSDAY

On Thursday, the area of rain which will have again abundantly watered the south-eastern half of the territory the previous night will leave our country towards Germany. To the rear, showers will follow one another from the North Sea under fairly heavy cloudiness. The maximums will be between 10 and 15 degrees. The northwest wind will be moderate inland, quite strong to strong on the coast with gusts of 50 to 60 km/h.

Luc Trullemans is worried: “In 30 hours, 85 liters per square meter will fall, which is much more than the flood threshold”
