“L’batal”, the new film produced by RedOne

This film, marking the beginning of artist Omar Lotfi’s career as a director, stars stars of the Moroccan seventh art, including Aziz Dadas, Rafik Boubker, Majdouline Idrissi, Farah El Fassi and Fehd Benchamsi.

The director and actor Omar Lotfi, stressed that “L’batal”, which will be screened in cinemas during the month of October, marks his first feature film as a director, expressing his wish that this project finds a favorable response from the Moroccan public.

At the same time, he made it known that working with RedOne was a dream he had had for a long time, and that he is proud to have been able to carry out this project with a renowned producer.

“The experience of directing this feature film was both exciting and enjoyable, as the film’s plot presents captivating events in both a dramatic and comedic setting,” he said, emphasizing that filmmaking was a dream he had since the beginning of his artistic career.

For Omar Lotfi, this new project, whose soundtrack was composed by Youssef Sadiki under the direction of RedOne, reflects his passion for this artistic genre and his desire to contribute to the enrichment of the Moroccan film library.

For his part, the famous international producer of the film, RedOne, expressed his joy at collaborating with the artist Lotfi, noting that this film represents his first cinematic experience in Morocco, as well as the role he plays in the film.

As for the film’s soundtrack, RedOne revealed that it had worked on two songs for “L’batal” with artists Naâman Belayachi and Rim Fikri.

He assured that the production team of this new project is working hard to disseminate it as much as possible so that it can reach an international audience, announcing at the same time that other cinematographic projects with director Omar Lotfi will see the light of day in the future.
