Momo Wade innovates with “Saturday Evening”

Since his arrival at RTS1, Momo Wade, famous for his eloquence and his joie de vivre, has established himself as an essential figure on the national channel. Son of DJ Prince, he took the reins of the show “Saturday Soir”, which he transformed into an innovative program.

The concept of the show, completely redefined by Wade, consists of a lounge with a warm decor where Senegalese stars are received. An outdoor kitchen area completes this friendly environment, facilitating authentic exchanges with guests. Wade excels in the art of asking relevant questions, touching on the careers and current events of showbiz personalities and Senegalese politics.

The first episode of “Saturday Evening” under his direction was a success, thanks to the presence of the popular artist Mia Guissé. For the second episode, he invited Pape Diouf, leader of the Génération Consciente group, promising in-depth discussions on the evolution of music in Senegal.

Momo Wade, former host of Sentv, is proving to be a valuable asset for RTS1, bringing a dose of modernity and dynamism to Senegalese television animation.
