Football: Women’s Euro 2025: a match and the trip for 25 francs

Ticket sales for Women’s Euro 2025 were launched this Tuesday with a special event at the Jungfraujoch. The event featured a match between football legends and future stars, with the Aletsch Glacier as a backdrop, at 3,454 meters above sea level.

In total, 720,000 tickets are available. The public sale begins this Tuesday on www.womenseuro.com/tickets. Fans can buy up to 10 tickets per match from 25 francs. 120,000 tickets will also be reserved for supporters of the 16 national teams after the tournament draw on December 16 in Lausanne.

Ticket holders traveling within Switzerland will benefit from free use of public transport. On the day of the match, their ticket will be valid for a second-class return journey between any Swiss location and the match venue.

In spring 2025, a resale platform will be launched, allowing supporters to resell tickets at face value, via the official UEFA channel, to ensure secure transactions.

“The summer of 2025 must be a summer of joy and allow the boom in women’s football to continue. The matches will be accessible to all. Individuals and families will have the opportunity to see the best players in Europe at very good prices and, thanks to the combined tickets, to travel comfortably and inexpensively by train from anywhere in Switzerland to all eight cities hosts,” declared Dominique Blanc, president of the ASF, on the occasion of the launch of ticket sales.

As a reminder, these eight host cities are Basel, Bern, Geneva, Lucerne, Saint-Gall, Sion, Thun and Zurich.
