Gamers from all walks of life are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the console currently being called the Nintendo Switch 2. While rumors have been intensifying about it for several weeks, it seems that design images and information have surfaced.
New information and images of the Switch 2?

A dozen images and information from a Chinese social network have been shared on Reddit, on which we can discover what would be the next Nintendo console. There is no way to verify their reliability, but a source from VGC confirmed to the media that the images are consistent with what Nintendo would have communicated to its partners about the design of the Switch 2.
First Switch 2 details, according to new leak

- Magnetic Joy-Cons
- USB-C supports on top and bottom
- 12 GB RAM
- HDMI 2.1 support
- 256 GB of storage space
Note that this new information is consistent with a previous leak that took place this year in May.
Also according to VGC sources, the Switch 2 would be launched with an LCD screen, rather than an OLED, in order to reduce production costs, and therefore sales. It was also confided to the media that the release of the console would have been pushed back internally, thus going from 2024 to early 2025. One source specified that this postponement would have taken place to prepare a stronger line-up of games, while other sources specified that it would be a solution to avoid possible supply problems.
