Kate, adored by the British and who appeared almost every day in the press, suddenly disappeared from the media landscape after Christmas 2023. She had been hospitalized in January. All sorts of rumors had then appeared on social networks. At the end of March, she had announced herself, in a video that had moved, that she had cancer, without specifying the nature. A further blow for the royal family, since King Charles III had announced shortly before that he also had cancer.
