FOOD REVIEW – A historic table on the left bank, it has just had a facelift, with varnished woodwork, starched tablecloths and traditional cuisine.

They often disappear in an indifferent, guilty or downright stupid silence. With them, with their modesty in withdrawing in silence, Paris always loses a little of its memory. Surely because their erasure is too polite and the list that accompanies it too sad to count. The tables sometimes fall like men. Too bad! To those who frequented them, they leave the metallic taste of nostalgia. To those who did not even know their name, they give in to the missed appointment.

Left Bank, even worse! It must be the Apollinaire of feelings, the Souchon of things, the poetry and refrain of the neighborhood. We sat there or not, well or badly, but, between a garden, two statues, three monuments, they had the merit of making a city. A small miracle of circumstances, some sometimes manage to save their skin. Rue de Grenelle, La Petite Chaise is among them.
