A new case of rape of a foreign national in Paris. According to information from BFMTV, a British tourist filed a complaint for rape at the police station in the 8th arrondissement, this Saturday, August 31, late in the afternoon, after being the subject of a report for a worrying disappearance.

The 34-year-old woman reported having dinner with a group of friends visiting the capital on Friday, August 30, in a restaurant located in the 17th arrondissement, before continuing the evening in a nightclub located in the 16th arrondissement.

Tourist woke up alone in a house

On the night of the 30th to the 31st, at around 4 a.m., the complainant went, with one of her friends, to a shisha bar with a man they had met during the evening.

The thirty-year-old then found herself isolated in this establishment, before waking up, alone, in a house in which there were many mattresses laid out on the floor. The complainant says she then felt “pain” in her private parts.

Worried about not seeing her return to their hotel, her friends alerted the police on Saturday August 31 at around 1 p.m., before managing to geolocate her using her mobile phone.

Alerted, the Paris public prosecutor’s office instructed investigators from the 1st judicial police district (DPJ) to continue the investigations.
