Markus Ritter is now one of the major favorites for the succession of Viola Amherd to the Federal Council. His cantonal party announced a press conference in his presence for Tuesday. It has become a secret of Polichinelle, the president of the very powerful Swiss Union of Peasants will indeed embark on the race.
