-The American president would have been very aggressive while Mr.me Frederiksen reportedly reiterated that the territory, owned by the Kingdom of Denmark, is not for sale during a 45-minute phone call.
“It was horrible. It was very firm, it was a cold shower. Until now, it was difficult to take him seriously. But I now think it is serious, and potentially very dangerous,” an anonymous source explained to the British media.
“It was a very difficult conversation. He threatened Denmark with targeted measures, such as the imposition of customs tariffs,” said a former Danish official.
Remember that the American president has shown an interest in purchasing Greenland. The leaders of the country’s five political parties disagreed with Mr. Trump’s proposal.
